These terms cover your use of iCog. By signing in or otherwise using the service, you agree to them. If you don't, please stop using iCog.
The service
iCog is a personal memory system that stores and retrieves information on your behalf, and that integrates with third-party AI tools. It is provided by Lexaplus.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
You must be at least 16 years old to use iCog.
Acceptable use
Don't use iCog to do anything illegal, to harm others, to violate someone else's rights, or to build a service that competes with iCog using its own outputs. Don't attempt to extract model weights, abuse rate limits, or exfiltrate other users' data.
We can suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate these terms.
Your content
You own what you put into iCog. Granting us a license to host and process your content is necessary to provide the service; that license is limited to operating iCog and ends when you delete the content or close your account.
iCog's content
The iCog system itself — the software, the algorithms, the brand, the design — belongs to Lexaplus. You may use the service; you may not copy the system.
Third-party AI providers
iCog routes inference through third-party providers (OpenRouter, Gemini, others). Their availability, behavior, and pricing affect iCog's behavior. We do our best to abstract these so you don't have to think about them, but we don't control them.
No warranty
iCog is provided as-is. We don't promise it will always be available, always be correct, or always understand what you mean. It's a memory system, not a guarantor of truth. Use judgment when acting on what iCog recalls or suggests.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Lexaplus is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of iCog. Our total liability for direct damages is capped at the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
You can stop using iCog and close your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that pose a risk to other users. On termination, your data is deleted per the privacy policy.
Changes
If we change these terms in a material way, we'll notify you in the iCog interface and by email. Continued use after a notified change constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Lexaplus is incorporated, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless a binding arbitration clause is added in a future version of these terms.
